Sea Turtle Watching Trip

Service Description

Join a nature guide and marine biogist who´s specialized in sea turtles conservancy during a night patrol to experience the nesting of loggerhead turtle. The tour will take place on a beach near Santa Maria. Here, you`ll have the opportunity to witness the female turtle laying the eggs on the sand hole and then returning to the sea. During this magical experience you will also learn more about the biology and ecology of this amazing specie. The tour will be done at a slow pace and we will walk approx. 3 km following a "code of conduct" to minimize any environmental disturbance.
